The Torah Portion of KI TISA (כִּי תִשָּׂא‎ ‎‎—Hebrew for “when you take,” the sixth and seventh words of the parashah) is the 21st weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה‎, parashah) in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading and the ninth in the Book of Shemot (Exodus). This parashah Moshe returns with tablets inscribed with the Ten Commandments which he then breaks upon discovering the sin of the Golden Calf but then prepares another set of tablets after God forgives the people. Moshe has a vision of the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy.
