Parshah VA’EIRA (וָאֵרָא — Hebrew for “and I appeared”) is the first word that God speaks in Exodus 6:3. This is the fourteenth weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה, parashah) in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading and the second in the Book of Shemot (aka Exodus).[1]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Va’eira
The parashah tells of Moses and Aaron’s encounter with Pharaoh during the first seven plagues of Egypt: water turned to blood, frog swarms, lice, wild beasts, livestock disease, boils, and hail.
