The Torah Portion of YITRO (יִתְרוֹ — Hebrew name for “Jethro,” the second word of the parashah) is the seventeenth weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה, parashah) in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading and the fifth in the Book of Shemot (aka Exodus).[1]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yitro
This parashah relates the advice given to Moshe by his father-in-law Jethro on how to setup their court system. The Israelites arrive at Mount Sinai where they receive the Ten Statements (aka Ten Commandments) and Torah.
